We've Moved!

We've moved! and there are lots of changes to announce. Gemstone beads, findings and supplies will only be available for online purchase from now on.   Look for more fine loose gemstone listings to appear in my supplies shop on etsy and at TorontoBead. 

For example, right now I have several interesting lots of colombian emeralds available, as well as ruby, sapphire and stunning topaz specimens (like these amazing topaz nuggets) that are fabulous and will work well in even the highest end luxe designs.

On a personal note, we've moved to beautiful Bowmanville, Ontario minutes east of Whitby-Oshawa where we've resided since 1995.  The town of Bowmanville is situated within the municipality of Clarington at the far eastern edge of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).  Bowmanville is lovely and we're starting to settle in. 

We're excited to have our daughter Kate (who has a form of cerebral palsy) living with us permanently again and the wheelchair accessible bungalow we had built is meeting our needs perfectly... 

At this time however plans to reopen my bricks and mortar bead shop are on hold.  If you live in Durham or Clarington Regions and have made a purchase via the online shops you may still opt to pick up your merchandise in person (no S&H charges).  And by firm appointment (evenings and weekends only) gemstone showings are still available.

Grand Opening Toronto Bead!

I derived the name Toronto Bead from the often used expression "Toronto's Best Beads", a term my fans and customers use to describe the stash of premium loose gemstone beads and quality jewelry making supplies that I sell online. 

I'm not a bead wholesaler, but rather a passionate designer of artisan jewelry. These beads and materials are what I call "studio overstock" meaning this is the exact same quality of loose gemstone beads, pearls, crystals, ear wires, headpins, etc. that I use in my luxe jewelry designs.  These materials were hand selected by me personally and prior to listing gems I make my own personal evaluation of the mineral grade.  All stone enhancements, flaws, materials are disclosed in my bead listings.
